Animes worth watching.

So I was at my local card shop and... I got to talking to the guys there about some movies. Just to basically bring up for no real reason. We were talking about Princess Mononoke. Basically it's about a boy who is farming in a village and gets inflicted by a virus on his arm. The arm will kill him within weeks and he has to find a way to rid of his disease before it ultimately kills him. Whilst the neighboring kingdom is power hungry for money and tries to kill the god beast of the forest while Princess Monoke tries to defend the forest. The boy ultimately ends up in the village to fight to protect the forest because of the tale of the forest and his illness.

Afro Samaurai, basically it's a bloody movie with actor Samuel L. Jackson who is out to avenge the death of his father by becoming the first best Samurai in the world. Bent on prestige,power, hatred and revenge he's bent on gaining the title of the best samaurai in the world by trying to kill the best. The one who killed his dad trying to be the best.

Vampire Hunter D was basically an anime based around the time of Transelvania, Dracula and the game Vampire Hunter D on the playstation. A vampire huntress gets bitten and is about to become one. When the vampire/human comes along to her side, he must fight Dracula to cure her before she becomes one of his women.

That's only just to name a few, if anybody has anything else to add go ahead and add to this and I'll read later.

These are not anime movies per say, but they are animes.

I'm a big fan of all the major main stream animes.  such as,

Death Note,
A student at the top of his class finds a "notebook of death" and decides too rid the world of evil and become god of a world of people he has judged to be kind and hard working.

Sword Art Online
I loved this anime (up until episode 14 or 15 when the show takes a unfortunate dive in my opinion) If your gonna watch it, stop watching there and create a ending in your head. Until that point tho, its a story of a bunch of gamers who get stuck in there virtual reality MMORPG. Too escape, they must beat the game ! Must Watch for ANY gamer.

Hell Girl
A chilling anime about a organization called "hell corespondents". You follow different stories of people looking for revenge, and at 12pm they can contact these hell corespondents, to do there dirty work, and send there enemy to hell. But sending someone to hell has its price, when they die, their sour must also go to hell.

I know some more, but those are by far my favorite 3 as of now.

Chrono Crusade is a good one. I don't know if I've mentioned that one or not.
